Adjustment Bureau isn't Bourne-like, the movie is built around a love story that isn't in Dick's story. Even the paranormal forces that secretly micro-manage all of humanity can't keep them apart! Disappointing that they dumped the talking dog from the original story.
I saw part of the I, Robot movie and didn't like it, but I didn't expect to and was pretty distracted/not in the mood to watch a movie, so maybe I didn't give it a fair chance. I'm not really interested in rewatching it in context of watching movies alongside the source material, because as I understand it the original draft had nothing to do with Asimov, and the few common elements were just put in there as branding.
> I wonder what Blade Runner and Total Recall fans think of Super Mario Bros, which had a city in it that looked like someone wanted something from the first two movies, but for really little kids
I'm sure all the parents who grew up with Dick and took their kids to see the Mario movie when it came out were very disappointed that they didn't adapt his one children's book instead.

A Dick-ish book I remember from my childhood is:

It's where I learned about punch-cards. I guess there was a rewritten version with updated technology, but I think that's actually kind of disappointing.
