I never heard half of the airhead surfer lingo when I was growing up -- when all things skating and surfing were at high tide -- and there usually from classmates and from the secret levels in Super Mario World (and, really, from classmates who got it from Mario.)

Did you know that airhead surfer lingo "tubular" (an expression of approval) refers to a kind of wave? The archetypical surfer wave? I thought it meant like metal tubing or something. Hard af level in Mario, too.

I can't imagine giving up coffee or anything carbonated. I have GERD/acid reflux, too, sometimes to the point of (benign) esophageal dysmotility, but I could never give up my coffee. I'm going to have to cut back from coffee to caffeine pills for the cost. I'll miss it. $12.99 for a thing of coffee every week vs. $3.99 for a bottle of pills that will last you longer. Two months (almost wrote "two years", lol) without a cigarette today.
