Beck - yeah can't imagine how much his recent stuff is any good but I'd like to check out most of his 90s and 00s stuff I missed myself.
Sufjan - yeah people praise this guy to the heavens all the time. Can't say I know or heard much of anything to judge but just kind of seemed tedious to listen to.
Beach Boys pre 64 - yeah there are some nice gems on those albums. Then again I have a soft spot for classic beach boys. Surfer Girl and Surfin USA are worth checking out once. I think Surfer Girl is a kind of underrated album but it has some cheesy stuff. The Christmas album is good too.
Beatles pre rubber soul - wow can't believe he hasn't heard this stuff either. I loved this stuff a lot as a teen, still think some of it is as classic as the later stuff. I love the folky shit on Beatles For Sale, agreed Help is underrated, A Hard Days Night is probably the most constantly good albums of this era despite the song "When I get home". With The Beatles also has some really cool songs too, like George's first song Don't Bother Me
