And I'm genuinely 100% not bullshitting that that song was playing when I read the post. I actually have both that and "Trapeze" on a playlist that's in heavy rotation right now, and I've been hanging out and listening to a lot of music so it's not as unlikely a coincidence as it might seem.
The Greek word for "table" is "trápeza". From this are derived "trapeze" and "trapezoid" (o-(e)idos, "(in the) form (of)"). Your guess is as good as mine how!
