Most of what I know about wine came from my dad, who'd drink a bottle every night as part of a low-carb diet and he kept wondering why he wasn't losing weight. LOL -- some of it has rubbed off on me and I can distinguish a port from a Gewürztraminer, or pick the right glasses. But I hate the stuff: it tastes awful and it's an awfully pretentious way to be an obnoxious drunk.
