Music Babble

They really had me for a couple of my teen years, honest. I was legitimately, actually afraid to tell these guys that I liked, say, Husker Du. I sometimes pretended to hate bands that I liked, and this is people who were telling me what to think on ***ICQ***!
And they tried HARD to get into all sorts of crazy modern fusiony European/global prog shit, stuff like Anekdoten and Anglagard and stuff that doesn't really seem *that* special today but these guys could name band members and junk. And of course every classic prog album by every classic prog band was unassailable, even stuff like King Crimson's Lizard that most people would agree is a lesser effort.
