Well Ghana is right next to Sierra Leone and Liberia, who have had current or recent civil wars (look up General Butt Naked -- colorful character, a cannibal who went into battle in only his sneakers. I think he's now a pastor) so there was plenty of bloodshed close to home. Maybe other countries as well.

And there was that big ebola outbreak in the region a few years ago and that's a dramatically bloody disease. They have guns there, too.

I watched some movies yesterday: Leprechaun 2, Leprechaun 3 and the Bruce Willis Death Wish. That's a seriously hot female lead in number three. But anyway, Bruce Willis ends up blowing away the main bad guy with an illegal fully-automatic rifle while the police are on their way. He buys said illegal machine gun at a regular gun store. The police don't seem at all concerned. It's been many, many years since I've seen the Charles Bronson films, but did it have holes this huge?
