Yeah they're inherently awkward and I've had a few weird ones but I usually go in with as few expectations as possible of either myself or the other person and am usually able to get fairly comfortable fairly quickly. My main issue is when they want to hook up on the first date, which I've never been a fan of, even when I'm very attracted to them. Just feels weird to start inserting your body parts into someone else's just a few hours after meeting them.
