Beck - last 3 albums have been pretty embarrassing, would love for him to put out at least 1 more great album but honestly don’t see it happening.
Freestyle Fellowship - the solo albums have been the focus for the last couple of decades or so and the last couple of group releases have been pretty weak compared to the early stuff but I’m still willing to check them out for the time being.
PJ Harvey - not very interested in the demo versions of her classic albums she’s been releasing (anyone heard any of them?), just wish she’d release something new already, especially because the last couple of albums were quite good, especially “Let England Shake” (her best IMO).
Bjork - the new album’s pretty enjoyable but everything since “Medulla” has been pretty by numbers.
The Coup - another one who hasn’t officially broken up but given how long it’s been since the last album (which sucked unfortunately), the death of Pam The Funkstress and Boots’s success as filmmaker, it seems like they’ve done.
The Roots - similar case: haven’t officially broken up, been awhile since the last couple of lackluster albums (didn’t even bother with the Elvis Costello collab- WTF guys) so guess they’re just Jimmy Fallon’s band now? Pretty ####ing depressing.
Tribe Called Quest - comeback album was solid but even though they didn’t officially break up, it sure seems like the group died with Phife.
Pram - all their stuff is worth checking out IMO even if the early work is clearly strongest. Been several years since the last one though.
The Breeders - their reunion album was surprisingly good so I’d love more from them but aren’t optimistic.
