Music Babble

well, great post, of course, and this is a good little list for me to sift through, as some of this stuff is either material I haven't heard in a long time or am not familiar with. Haven't played BBC Sessions in ages, for instance.

I guess where we differ is on the Woodstock set. I always found it lacking, sloppier than usual, not very well recorded, and Jimi seems exhausted. maybe I'm talking out my butt, though... haven't played it in a long while. I dunno... it always irked me that Jimi played at 9am on the final morning. couldn't they have swapped him with Country Joe & the Fish?
