1968, 1969, 1970, 1972, 1957, 1958, 1966, 1977, 1979, 1981, 1982 (I'm all about The Broadsword and the Beast).
Just off the top of my head. 1977-1982 was a great stretch and yes, I know that's six years and not five. '57 and '58 weren't great for albums but it's the peak of pre-British-Invasion rock. 1986, obvs. 1959 was the best year ever for jazz.
