Sure, there's vocals but they're only there in service of the futuristic instrumental grooves and you have to be in a certain mood to listen.
It's amazing how relistening to prime Bowie can give me the impetus to finally get into some artists like Talk Talk, solo Brian Ferry, Slade, Sweet, New Order/Joy Division, and Kraftwerk.
