Glam rock is sort of a patchy genre
Really, there are only two great glam artists - Bowie and Roxy*, obviously. And vying for 3rd place are two good artists who have some albums worth hearing - T. Rex and Mott. The rest are inconsistent singles acts best heard on compilations. Sweet's greatest hits is an awesome guilty pleasure and easily the best of all those second-string glam acts. Slade had 4 or 5 decent songs from what I remember - what, no love for "Mama We're All Crazy Now?" (however they misspelled it). *I don't really count Eno as glam even though his first album is, the rest of his career isn't glam at all.
