Rogue was available within the last 15 years, because I remember playing a tiled version.

The Roguelike I'm most familiar with is the tiled version of Linley's Dungeon Crawl, although I know that purists don't play the tiled versions of those old games.

NetHack is another one of the best loved.

I've never played Diablo.

Oh wait, if Caveblazers, which is a more recent sidescroller, counts, then I've played alot of that one.
