Music Babble

I barely remember the Christian themes from Anna K. I guess there's a lot of specifics about that book I've forgotten, even though I read it within the last couple years. I should do War And Peace eventually.

I bought Trafic on DVD years ago and have never gotten around to watching it. Someday!

I just watched Tenet a few weeks ago. I was expecting it to be bad so it was probably slightly better than my expectations. But it's still not good. I don't really mind the confusingness (I played it on headphones so at least the dialogue was intelligible) or the nonsensical premise, I just think that a movie that's basically about time-traveling James Bond should be fun, and this was not. Denzel Jr. in the lead role displayed none of his dad's charisma (I don't know if that's his fault or Nolan's) and the normally good Elizabeth Debicki was wasted. Kenneth Branagh seemed to be enjoying his accent but was otherwise kind of dour - only Robert Pattinson (who I don't normally like) displayed any kind of winking charm. The action scenes were not particularly compelling and the score was immediately forgettable.

I guess maybe I don't make it to the end of Director's Cut often because I can't remember the "Rubberband Girl" rendition. Maybe I'll play it tomorrow.
