Was always disappointed with Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I don't hate it, but the fans of it had me believing the low budget made it seem like a sort of documentary or something, and then it was just this sort of blunt...thing. The conceit of a whole family of psycho cannibals is sort of effective, but Leatherface is no more memorable than the rest of the major slashers and that blonde girl is one of the worst actresses of all time, screaming her head off.
