I've only read Rachel Papers for him, but I didn't think it was good. It felt a little like an imitation of his dad's stuff* but not as well executed.
*I quite like Kingsley, but I wouldn't bother reading more if you didn't especially like Lucky Jim - I think that's comfortably his best.
