Pete Brown, who wrote lyrics for Cream (and did a bunch of stuff besides). I never would have thought you needed an outside lyricist for things like "I Feel Free" or "Sunshine Of Your Love", but I guess there is an art to writing pop lyrics that sound good despite being pretty meaningless.
