Favorite print fiction about rock/popular music?

I don't know that I have many candidates, but I at least have one I read recently and nobody is talking about anything else. The Feast of St. Janis by Michael Swanwick - Great author that I've read alot of lately, and this was his second published story, from 1980. It's a post-apocalyptic story about an African diplomat who visits North American and ends up going on tour with a Janis Joplin impersonator.
