They reformed in the late 90s and have put out as many albums since that reformation as they did in their original 1976-82 run. None of these albums are masterful but they did have some memorable tracks--the first three tracks of their 2011 album Panic Of Girls are glorious.

However, most people liked their 1999 album No Exit far more than I did, so YMMV.

Pere Ubu were inconsistent both in their classic years AND in current incarnations. I have no idea who all is still listening (and only rock critics ever listened to begin with, right?) but they put out a new album this year and Prindle says it was one of the most unlistenable things he'd ever heard.
