He was the son of a Hollywood drug dealer with the hilarious name Blackie Dammett who had his son try heroin at age 14 and who also got him to appear in the forgotten Sylvester Stallone movie F. I. S. T. as a child actor. (Flea appeared in movies before RHCP was big too).
That being said, Frusciante has got to still be the most f***ed up member of the band.
