That's just so baffling that they went from a beloved writer like Schrader to a Hollywood action schlockmeister like Harlin. (I know, I know, TonyV is a Harlin defender.) What did Schrader have to say about Harlin, anything good? What's next, Scorsese makes a film and it gets shelved and remade by McG?
