Re what I hated about the end of Dawn of the Dead, it's already been a few years since I rewatched it, but I remember not liking the climax with the armored truck. I don't hate the concept but I didn't like the scene.
I don't know about The Fountainhead, but Snyder is making a movie that he wanted to be a Star Wars movie, but it's just going to be something else
