Other PS1 rpgs I've beaten are Grandia (excellent game with some rough edges) and Xenogears... you know how FF games tend to have 2 hours of dungeon and some story? Xenogears has 2 hours of story and some dungeon.
SotN is still great -- I've played through it on at least 3 different platforms that aren't PS1, lol. A lot of that game's features were streamlined on the GBA and DS Castlevania's. Apart from Harmony of Dissonance which kinda blows, they're all worth playing. So is Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night which is SotN 2.0.
My most fondly remembered PS1 games besides those are Crash 2 and 3 and the Oddworld games.
Megaman Legends and the Tron Bonn spin-off is a series I want to circle back on after skipping.
