White Album is a bit hit or miss for me overall. Bungalow Bill was always just OK to me, kind of cheesy but maybe I need to hear more satire and irony in it. Good Night grew on me more than when I was younger. It's a nice lullabye. But I probably prefer that one more spare arrangement on Anthology instead of the Disney strings. It's nice though. Honey Pie is one of my faves on the record though.
And Revolution 9 is one of my faves too. I really enjoy that sound collage and creepy atmosephere on that one. I always thought the same as you about Revolution 1 but I appreciate that version more now, because the single version is kind of overplayed too much a bit for me.
Helter Skelter does ####in rock. While My Guitar Gently Weeps - have no strong feelings about this. Its good, don't love it dont hate it. In fact i prefer "Long Long Long" to it. But I never understood how "Savoy Truffle" made the album and not the song "Circles" which was demoed around this time.
