Re: Elite level Team"
Coaches and organizations have no problem selling their program with promises of glory. I will be honest it’s happened to me and my daughter. It sucks when you are disappointed. It really makes you angry when your daughter makes friends and you know her development is suffering or lagging with that team. If HER Goal is to improve and advance in this game , then sit down with her and research the teams “Looking for Players” to find that fit that will help her growth. Then make the move. Be careful and be Very Wary of the Dads trying to make a team for their darling daughter. Research, research, and more research. Look @ what they played in last season. How many girls did they lose and why. If a coach tells you they cut players from last season but they showed up on a roster for a team that plays @ the same or higher level, that’s a red flag move on. If the coach tells you they had some girls that moved on to bigger and better organizations, that might be a sign they are developing players that can perform. Lastly ask if the coach minds if you come out to observe their practices. If the level of their practice is not there then you should not expect them to develop your daughter there. Good luck.
