Not sure I meant vast amounts, for sure. But there are plenty of examples where athletes are on lesser teams and show extremely well when put in positions to compete verses players on elite teams. (No, before I get hammered by the elite player’s parents, I said show extremely well, not dominate.) High school and camps are things that allow them to come together and compete on level ground. Make educated decisions on the teams you play on. Get away from your comfort level. Get advice from people outside your situation. If you’re on a team, be on the team bc they are in the right tournaments, exposures, and are a big part of the recruiting process.
