Unsure which Wasco team you played for, but currently a 16u parent of the organization and paying $3,500 in fees and only $400 in coaching fees. For the amount of work our coach does, $400 absolutely does not cover it for her, and the amount of money she puts back in to my child is above and beyond what she makes. We fundraised both this year and last, and checks were written directly back to parents to help offset the cost of fees. A smaller organization with few teams at each age level, yes, they may ask for our help. A privately owned facility that is not shared with another organization or a larger boys team is a rare find in our area. Cost is very much comparable (or lower) to other high level programs and absolutely worth it for what our coach and the organization put in to my daughter.
