- My kid gets defensive reps every day in practice. Which is hard to do.
- She sees a wide range of pitching which makes her adjust which is great training that you really can't replicate.
- She's generally one of the better kids on the field which is nice for everyone's ego.
- You get to see a game without dropping a ton of money or two days out of your life.
- You're not talking to the same parents you see every weekend in travel and they're not rooting for your kid to fail so theirs can get a leg up in recruiting.
The kid has a chance to play in college so I know travel is the real world, but HS is a great time from my view.
