First, when I first started the Beverly Bandits Travel Team 1998-99, I paid for everything, including the hotel rooms and it cost $50,000.
by the year 2000, I had two teams and my contribution was approximately $100,000. That remained the case until those young ladies, the group that won nationals at 16U in 2003 graduated and then I put more of my time and resources into Chicago Bandits. Starting in 2010, after stepping away from the pro league, I put more time and resources into the Beverly Bandits. I actually donate $200,000 but none of this goes to the players fees, which covers tournaments, dome practices, insurance, equipment, and everything that goes along with running a quality travel team. My money goes towards coaches stipends, hotels, car rentals and airline reimbursement. I had one less sponsored team last year, and the surplus money went towards Empowering Girls for Life.
Enough about my donations and lets get back to your question. Assuming your question was legit and not trying to throw shade at me for my contributions.
If you were to provide 4 NIL's for $50,000 a year to the best pitchers in the country, you will find some that would be interested, obviously some that would not. Teams make Regionals from the mid majors but I assume your talking about a team that might have a chance to go to the super regionals and WCWS. I believe if you received commitments from 4 of the best pitchers in the country, the talent will follow. you have to have the right coaches and it might take a year or two but I think you could do it with some $$$ and some luck.
