Nope. All you need to do is look at football and you know money buys your path to victory. When 7 of 8 titles go to private schools but private schools represent less than 10% of total Illinois schools, there is an obvious problem. If someone disputes this, having been at a Catholic school in the day playing with NFL HOF'ers, they pay for their athletes and they pay the IHSA for their favoritism. having a daughter go through a school it amazed me how their path was a cake walk to peoria and how some schools got placed into 2A and 3A. completely unfair to those smaller schools but happy to see when the public schools could beat the private schools, something that doesn't happen in football very often.
