To have one recruiting class with 10 players already verbally committed seems "odd" - especially with the portal.

It's of course possible that a coach knows that they'll have a lot of turnover in upper classes, but P4 are frequently using the portal to fill roster needs.

If you have one recruiting class with 10 commits, you don't have much room to use the portal, and you really reduce the number you can take in subsequent years (e.g., 10+5+5+5 = 25).
