I think the most significant change is the competitiveness of Midwest players. One of my kids was part of some of the earlier Bandit teams, and while they were locally competitive, there was never really a chance they'd compete for a national title like they do now. I have zero numbers to back it up, but it seems like there are more P4 rostered players from the non-sunbelt states than previously.
