I don’t know that moving to that type of format would lessen any player or team’s focus on winning a game. Nothing is perfect, the pros seem to outweigh the cons to me.

And if we really want to help our girls get ready for college, we’d play full 7 inning games… which would be easier in a showcase format than going to 45 minute drop dead’s to get through a rainy bracket…
