The new complex in New Lenox just opened last week. That would have been pretty risky to schedule the best recruiting tournament in the entire midwest at a complex that might not have been open in time.

We will see about next year. Seems like New Lenox would be a great location for the Easton Rawlings tournament next year.

I went to the grand opening at the New Lenox complex. The facility is setup great for baseball tournaments. There would have to be temp fences setup on every field to have a softball tournament. There are not any softball fields like Westfield, Indiana at the New Lenox complex. The baseball fields have permanent fences that are about 330 down the lines and around 400 feet to center field.
