What the heck are we hiding? In college the stats are open to every competitor. (Not to mention advanced video analysis at the top levels.) Same thing in HS - unless you're the wank in Barrington who hides his GC and doesn't enter MaxPreps stats per IHSA rules.
If a parent is a jerk enough to be comparing OBPs and complaining to the coach, they're a wank anyway.
If a team beats you because they looked on GC and discovered for the first time that your 3 and 4 hitters are the best on your team and pitch around them... just applaud for that blind squirrel finding a nut.
