Not really a weight room thing but somewhat related. When DD was a freshman one of the Juniors hit a ball that clanked off the fence about 3/4 the way up. When she got back to the dugout she said "If I would have lifted instead of laying on the bench that would have been over." The whole team got a good laugh with that one.
