As has been stated before, no one is criticizing players who put in the work. No one disagrees that hard work is a prerequisite for success.

Who some - including me - are criticizing are the posts that go way too far. It's probably mostly parents, or kids getting bad advice.

Sure, post some work. Yes, post some results. But if your Twitter feed is full of self worship, a coach may also see an entitled princess, or a family orientation that isn't a fit for their culture.

It's hard for these kids, but parents should know better.
