One of the first things I did when I "took" the board was download the posting log, which showed which IP Addresses matched to actual individuals. People post differently when they think nobody's watching. Some of the attacks were disgusting, Coaches disparaging their own players, people insinuating girls were pregnant, a lot of crap that should have gotten your ass kicked in the parking lot. If that's what you want, please post your board address so you and your kind can migrate there. If that's the case, I can shut this down. I have no skin in the softball game anymore.

The credit I'll give from the early years is to the people that actually matter in this sport, Bill, Gerry, a couple of Sparks Coaches, the Lightning Management, Blue Wave Keith, etc., didn't hide. They consistently posted under their identity, and had the sack to take the very personal responses.

The people who want the ability to anonymously bash others typically don't matter. They don't coach; their kids typically aren't great players. They simply want other people's failures to be their success by pointing them out, and they'll never be a target because they never come to the attention of the larger community.
