Re: University of Illinis Fighting Chill
To set the record straight, I have six formers at Illinois presently . Whole discussion is sort of strange. I have had a lot of players play at Illinois in the past, players who have had very good careers. I could say the same at Wisconsin and Northwestern. In recent years we had nine at once at Wisconsin and seven at the same time at Northwestern. It makes sense - our players are from the greater Chicago area. All three Big 10 programs are in our backyard. And they are all really good academic institutions. Why would you not want your players to go to those schools? If people want to critique the college programs and who they recruit I get it. To me, the players will always just be people that I was very grateful to spend time with. I will hold them in the same high esteem no matter how many games their college team wins and I will always lend them a hand in some way if I can.
