The strike zone shouldn’t be any different but typically the officiating is better in college. Through three weekends, it’s been disappointing.

My daughter plays mid-major D1, and we’ve consistently seen pitches 6–12” off the plate called strikes. These pitchers are good enough — they don’t need an expanded zone.

Hoping it tightens up once conference play starts. I know crews are stretched thin early in the season
