A long time ago the great Howard Kubota talk me and my program how to throw on the run from either foot and round off balls so you already were in position to throw before it hit your glove. I carried those lessons through till I stopped coaching a few years ago.
It is easy to teach if you are consistent and trust the process and encourage the girls to take chances and exceed what they think their limits are. Defense and pitching always carries the day and allows you to capitalize when a pitcher makes a mistake against your offense.
