This story has a lot of what's wrong with college softball. First, husband-wife coaching staffs are always a bad idea. The fact that the player's parents are even mentioned regarding the firing, that the administration has absolutely no backup plan and is canceling the season, that both daughters are on their fourth program, and it goes on and on.
I'm glad my kids are out of coaching, but now they're hiring the same idiots because they'll take the job. She was an EIU head coach, but she's also had multiple other jobs too.
