Everything has a season, and seasons always change. The launch angle era is nearing its end, at least in baseball.
In softball, it seems the opposite may be true. Small ball deemphasized for long balls. It’s a hitter era now, and big bats are where it’s at.
I think it’s a mistake to abandon small ball - 60 feet makes it just too attractive to eliminate.
But bombs get more eyeballs than bunts!
