I was not at this game, but saw a similar call years ago and it bugs me to this day.

Anyway, it does appear blue was looking at the base. However, it also appears the base is being stepped on, unless it was missed n/s which would be hard to call. Anyway, if I have the right screenshot, judge for yourself.
