Congrats to the Chill on a strong finish at IDT for 14u & 18u. The 18s team appeared to be playing with IMG subs.

Two things can be true at once. The Chill is a strong program who places their girls D1. And they’ve lost more than a handful of girls at the 16u/18u over the last few years. Whether that’s poor scouting to bring them into the program in the first place when they were younger, players just not continuing to develop once in the program, and/or players realizing they’re not getting the D1 looks they want (or believe they should be getting) and leaving. Who knows? The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

As long as they continue to consistently place girls D1 it doesn’t really matter. Someone will always be willing to join a team like the Chill.
