Anyone ever notice that the parent coaches kids are the spies for the parent and telling on their teammates for everything a 17/18 year old does... Seems like this is another way for daddy ball drama... coach created....

No legitimate team/org has parent coaches after 13u. That should've been your first red flag! RUN!

No knowledge Persin make a blank across the board statement like that. There are plenty of great parent coaches.

There have been plenty of parent coaches who are excellent. I’m guessing you must be a paid for coach which only few are truly good.

It’s just not a rubber stamp.

I would find it creepy if a Coach cared about a player's non-softball behavior.

Have you ever heard of "moral hazard"? If not, such risks are something a College Coach would be concerned about. Additionally, these risks can impact the entire roster's recruiting opportunities. Or, as mentioned, perhaps this isn't a serious team. In that case, why are you on this site debating it?

How would an individual's non softball activity affect an entire roster of recruiting opportunities? Seems like a reach.

your first problem is parent coaches at that age. It can't be that serious of a team
