We all wanted a body of work in the SEC, but the results are in, and she's killing it. Starting lineup and earning her time. Way to go made the dream a reality:

There are several Midwest kids doing a great job on sec rosters. Allie Blum starting as a freshman for KY hitting over 400. Kylie Edwards now in her second season starting at ss for MS state. Anna Lea Adam’s getting lots of DP at bats for Auburn. Audrey Lowry throwing well for Oklahoma. Paige Ernstes another freshman had a break out weekend as the DP also for MS state. Karissa Hamilton a junior getting lots of time behind the plate at KY. I don’t know the kiddo now at Alabama but I think it’s fantastic.

Congrats Dad! Unfortunately for the rest of us Alabama is only 10 games into their season, and Alabama has not actually played any conference games yet.

To be clear, I hope she has a great year. I always root for local girls to do well in college, like Pupillo and Ellestad on Alabama. But a sample size of 31 ABs is not proof of anything. Let the season play out. This message board will still be here for you in June to post her final season stats.

Wow, what a dbag comment. You know the hope that she fails won't make your kids any better. My kids had solid P4 careers but would have never sniffed an SEC roster. Take your angry-ass attitude and project it on your own family.

I wasn’t being sarcastic. I hope she continues to hit well and has a great season. Local (Midwest) girls having good seasons helps the whole area in terms of recruiting. I was simply pointing out the absurdity of declaring anyone’s season a success 10 games into a 56+ game season.

We watched a lot of Bama softball this weekend. My wife was like, hey, that kid went to UNI. We follow the Panthers. Good for her! Also, Anna Wohlers is doing a nice job at Auburn. She's from Davenport, IA. Best of luck to Alexis!
