Can we plan

Can we plan on these tournaments being at the locations listed and not back and forth to remote church fields? Just think it is fair to know for teams and fans?

Don't worry, it's going to sprinkle or someone will pee on the field at Orland and all games will be canceled there for the weekend. They will try and move everyone up to St. Charles like last year. Tell you a start time, you will get there 1.5 hours before to warm up, and as you're walking up, they will tell you it's time to start your game. No time to warm up arms or pitchers, just that you have to play. Last year was a complete mess and there was absolutely no concern about the athletes. I understand you can't control the weather, but cancel it all, to treat these athletes like they did was horrible.

If he plays his power pools at one location, people will complain that their little Sally didn't get seen at the other site. Your team earns the right to move up the stack by winning. They aren't doing it by getting run ruled.

Just play all the Friday or Saturday games at the same location. So your team does not have to switch locations for pool play only .. Sunday location determined by pool play

Coaches typically will focus on one site. So in the end, if the good teams with players contacting coaches is playing at Orland - the coaches will be at Orland and then people will complain that they didn't come to the church fields. At least there is some equity in the schedule.

Are you referencing the Church fields off of I55 ? I believe those fields are great and have held up well under adverse conditions. So more than likely we all pay thousands for the kid(s) to play travel, and now we're complaining about gas money ? Additional "Field" competition coming soon for Crown Point.

It is not the issue of gas, it is the issue of two venues in one day. That is horrible how do you expect to be "Game Ready" after that long car ride?

OMG!

I can't imagine the amount of stress on these players after a 30 minute car ride between venues. These kids and families that must partake in such a insurmountable feat certainly have my heart felt condolences.

I hate to tell you from St Charles to Orland Park is not a 30 min car ride. (Maybe by small airplane it is 30 mins) but not by car.

It is definitely months away but my two cents. Two years ago I had to do St Charles to Orland Park in the same day. I really hope that the bugs are going to be straighten out.

Keep teams at the same venue. Keep the teans that have performed best at one facility and the other teams at the other facility. You might still get some complaints about Teams not getting a chance to play a better teams but that’s on those teams to show better in the Fall. You’ll eliminate those complaining about traveling to multiple venues
