Looking into summer programs for my college pitcher finishing up her freshman year. I’ve been looking into OGX and wanted to get some honest input about their summer pitching program. Is it worth it, does it work? Do they work on all things pitching i.e spin and mechanics? Not to worried about velocity.

Did an assessment there. Nice folks with cool technology, and they are making big progress at the college level advising and working with D1 teams - which says a lot.

Just know that it’s more than analytics. (Example: think about the millions poured into the NFL/MLB draft each year, and the analytics used to evaluate players… and the “hit rate” there!)

Definitely worth a visit and assessment. Then, consider their observations and think about what works for you and who you’d want to work with to take you to the next level.

If you're looking to advance your pitcher, go to a pitching coach who has the track record of advancing pitchers. Sometimes common sense prevails.

If you have a proven pitching coach who uses tech, that's a win-win.

Maybe OP has a pitching coach and feels her daughter needs something more or different? I don’t see an issue with seeking other types of training along with a pitching coach. I however don’t have any experience with OGX
